  • Holly Fisher will entertain, enlighten, and educate listeners as she recounts her adventures as the founder of Smartshop (winner of the $100,000 2004 Cool Cities Initiative Grant) and artistic director of The Smartshop Metal Arts Collective (SMAC), a non-profit metalworking school that offers a variety of classes to the general public. Ms. Fisher also operates a for-profit art gallery and completes numerous commissions and works of art as a practicing artist-blacksmith.SMAC has an enthusiastic outreach program, partnering with several community based organzations like Big Brother Big Sisters, Habitat for Humanity, Girlscouts, Boyscouts, Child and Family Services and many others. Holly will convey how creativity is vital in business, personal endeavors, and world concerns.
