- Speakers are typically donor family members and/or organ and tissue recipients who share their personal stories of donation and transplantation with others in the community to educate the public about the importance of organ and tissue donation. The speaker works to motivate and inspire the public to consider becoming organ/tissue donors by signing up on the Michigan Organ Donor Registry.
