- Domestic and Sexual Violence are public health problems that affect
everyone in a community either directly or indirectly. No community is
immune, nor is this just a women’s issue. Preventing this violence from
occurring is therefore everyone's responsibility. Ms. Lemmer discusses
national, state and local strategies for preventing violence from
occurring, rather than relying on responding to an incident after the
fact. Included in the presentation are highlights from media campaigns
that promote the importance of positive male role models for our youth.
