Paul was President/CEO of the Clinton Memorial Hospital for 27
years and a Director for the Sparrow Health System for several
years until his retirement.
He was elected & served as Clinton County Commissioner for
four years. He has a
Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Masters in Management, served
on active duty in Germany for two years in the US Army and is
Finance Committee Chair for his Church.
He was a member of the Michigan Board of Medicine for four years
and was elected Chairman of the Disciplinary Sub-committee.
This led to his involvement with the Federation of State
Medical Boards of the United States.
In 2005 & 2006 he served on the Physician Accountability
for Physician Competence Forum as one of three non-physician
members.
Paul and Evie enjoy visiting their 8 children and soon to be 15
grand children spread around the US and Australia.
Rotary has always been important to Paul since his father was an
active Rotarian as he was growing up in Davenport, Iowa and his
brothers were also members of various Rotary clubs.
He joined Rotary in 1967 and became President of the St.
Johns club in 1982-83.
He always considered the Rotary Club an integral part of the
Community and an appropriate vehicle for indentifying and serving
community needs. He is
a Paul Harris Fellow & served as District Governor Nominee and
Membership Chair for 2009-10 and District Governor Elect for
2010-11. He is now
the current Rotary 6360 District Governor.
